Hemlock

“They like it because it’s raw and it’s pure and it’s not bullshit.”

What’s up, everybody. We are Hemlock from Las Vegas, Nevada. But technically now we’re from the world because we travel everywhere, always on the road from heaven. Gallup, New Mexico, is one of our favorite places in the world to play because there are lots of rock ’n’ roller and metalheads here. It’s always fun. I mean, a lot of them are Navajo but we also play down in Zuni and then there are some that are Pueblo. There’s some Laguna folks out there too. We do really good out this way. We were one of the first out of town touring bands to play on the rez as far as I know; probably almost twenty years ago now we were invited to play in Tuba City, Arizona. It’s like the heartland of the Navajo Nation right there. So we came from Las Vegas, Nevada, and we did a metal fest—it was one of the first ones that I know of—and played in Tuba City and we made a bunch of friends and a bunch of fans and family all at the same time.
